Newtown - National Champions

Newtown Pride of the CSL are the 2019 USASA National Amateur Cup Champions.
After swiftly defeating Horizon FC of Huston, Texas 4 - nill, Newtown secured their first national championship and only the second Amateur Cup title for a Connecticut side since Hartford Italians SC in 1967.

In a new event starting this year, Newtown Pride will host UEFA Regions' cup winner Dolny Slask of Poland. Although, that is due to change in today's travel circumstances.
5 Titles back-to-back
Newtown Pride FC is part of the CSL, which is governed by the US Soccer Federation and founded by Matt and Michael Svanda back in 1998. Pride has earned 5 back to back titles in the Connecticut Soccer League and the distinction as national champs qualifies them for the Lamar Hunt US Open.
