CSL is back in action!

After an abrupt halt to the second half of the 2019-20 season due to the global pandemic, the league is back in action.

This weekend the most iconic league in the State of Connecticut is back. Sunday we see three teams go head to head on opening day. It will mark the third anniversary for Silk City SC as they host KO Elites. KO are looking to establish themselves as a consistent squad after the growing pains of last season and Silk are still searching for their first league win. Some would say with the team they have today Silk could have made it to the finals in 2017, or at least competed with the best of them. It is a true showing of how competitive the CSL has become since that time.

Waterbury Pontes face Bridgeport United FC, which certainly makes for the most exciting action of the night. Newcomers CT Roma are also set to play their first ever CSL game against league giants Glastonbury Celtic, rich with 70+ years of experience. Best of luck Roma and welcome to the big stage!
